This policy explains what happens to your data when you use lvlupfutures.com.

We have not appointed a data protection officer, as we are not required to do so under Article 37 GDPR and Section 38 BDSG.
2. Hosting and server log files
This website is hosted on a server operated by Hostinger International Ltd. Hostinger acts as our processor under Article 28 GDPR.
When you open a page, your browser transmits technical information, including your IP address and browser information, which is needed to deliver the website. We do not keep a separate access log of every page visit. Operational and error logs may contain technical request information where needed to diagnose faults or protect the server.

3. Cookies and similar technologies
We only store information on your device where this is strictly necessary to provide the service you requested, or where you have given your consent. This follows Section 25 TDDDG.
Strictly necessary
We save your cookie choice in your browser's local storage under the key lvlup-consent. Without it we would have to ask you on every single page view. It contains your decision, the version of this notice and the time of your choice. No identifier is stored that would allow us to recognise you.
Only with your consent
Site analytics (Google Analytics), advertising measurement (Meta Pixel) and our live chat (Intercom) are described in section 5. Each service is only loaded after you allow its purpose, and you can withdraw your consent at any time in section 9 of this page.
4. Contact forms and newsletter
The site offers several forms: the contact form, the affiliate application, the enquiry forms on the About and FAQ pages, and the newsletter sign-up.

How the newsletter subscription works
Entering your address does not subscribe you to marketing emails. We first email you a confirmation link, valid for 48 hours. Open it and choose Confirm subscription to complete the subscription. Merely opening the link does not confirm it. This double opt-in procedure helps prevent someone else from subscribing with your address.
We record the time and a shortened IP address for both steps, the initial entry and the confirmation. We need that record to prove the consent exists, as required by Article 7 (1) GDPR and Section 7 (2) no. 2 of the German Act Against Unfair Competition. If you never confirm, no marketing emails are sent and the entry stays inactive. New unconfirmed registrations expire after seven days; requesting a new confirmation starts that period again. Confirmation links can only be used once.
You can unsubscribe at any time using the link in every email, or by writing to info@lvlupfutures.com. One click is enough, no login and no reason required. After unsubscribing we keep your address only to document that and when you unsubscribed; ask us if you would like it deleted entirely. Withdrawing your consent does not affect the lawfulness of processing before the withdrawal.
5. Third-party services
Google Analytics 4 and Google Tag Manager
Provider: Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland. If you allow Analytics in our cookie settings, Google Tag Manager loads Google Analytics 4 to help us understand how visitors use our public pages. Neither Google service is loaded before this separate consent. Declining Analytics does not affect your ability to use the site.
Analytics processes page visits, session information, browser and device details and a pseudonymous cookie identifier. Connecting to Google also transmits your IP address. We send only known public page addresses without query parameters or fragments and fixed page titles. We do not send form contents, email addresses, login data or newsletter tokens. Admin and newsletter confirmation pages are excluded. Automatic form, search, scroll and video measurement is disabled, as are Google Signals and advertising personalisation.
Analytics cookies, including _ga and _ga_*, are configured to expire after 90 days without automatically extending that period on each visit. You can remove these cookies and stop further measurement by withdrawing Analytics consent below. In the Analytics property, event-level data is retained for two months and user-level data for 14 months; new activity can restart the user-data period. Aggregated reports can remain available beyond these periods. Google may process data outside the EU, including in the United States. Meta Pixel
Provider: Meta Platforms Ireland Limited, Merrion Road, Dublin 4, Ireland. If you consent, we load the Meta Pixel (ID 1778217903303460). It records that you visited this site and which pages you opened, and transmits this together with your IP address and a browser identifier to Meta. We use this to measure whether our ads work and to reach visitors again on Facebook and Instagram.
Legal basis: Article 6 (1) (a) GDPR and Section 25 (1) TDDDG, your consent. Meta may transfer data to the United States. Meta Platforms is certified under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework, which the European Commission recognised as providing an adequate level of protection in its decision of 10 July 2023. Intercom (live chat)
Provider: Intercom R&D Unlimited Company, 2nd Floor, Stephen Court, 18-21 St Stephen's Green, Dublin 2, Ireland. If you consent, we load the chat widget so you can contact support directly. Intercom sets its own cookies and processes the messages you send, your IP address and technical details of your browser.

Fonts, images and videos
Fonts, images and video previews are delivered from our own server. Interview videos use YouTube and are only loaded after you select Load video. By doing so, you consent to the connection to YouTube and the transmission of your IP address and browser information. Google Ireland Limited provides YouTube in the European Economic Area; data may also be processed outside the EU. Legal basis: Article 6 (1) (a) GDPR and Section 25 (1) TDDDG. Closing the video or leaving the page stops the embedded player; this does not undo data already transmitted. Further information: Google privacy policy.
6. Record of your cookie choice
When you accept or decline in the cookie banner, we record that decision on our server: the time, a shortened IP address, the version of this notice and which purposes you allowed. We need this record to demonstrate consent as required by Article 7 (1) GDPR. The legal basis is Article 6 (1) (c) GDPR. We keep these records for three years, then remove them during the hourly cleanup while the service is running. This record includes separate choices about analytics, advertising and chat.
7. External services and links
Funding assessments are operated by Prop Account, LLC and are not part of this website. When you follow a link to the client dashboard, to dashboardanalytix.com or to our social media profiles, the privacy policy of the respective provider applies. We have no influence over how those providers process your data.
8. Your rights
Under the GDPR you have the right to:
- access the personal data we hold about you (Article 15)
- have inaccurate data corrected (Article 16)
- have your data erased (Article 17)
- have processing restricted (Article 18)
- receive your data in a portable format (Article 20)
- object to processing based on legitimate interests, at any time and on grounds relating to your particular situation (Article 21)
- withdraw consent you have given, with effect for the future (Article 7 (3))

9. Manage your cookie choice
You can change or withdraw your consent here at any time. Withdrawal takes effect immediately and does not affect processing that took place before it.
10. Changes to this policy
We update this policy when the way we process data changes, for example when we add or remove a service. The date at the top shows the current version.
